Non-woven polyester felt underlay specially designed for use beneath lead sheet roofing, flashings and cladding. Provides a protective separation layer between the lead and the substrate, isolating the lead from rough or alkaline surfaces, accommodating minor substrate irregularities and allowing the lead to expand and contract freely. The needle-punched fibre structure also helps deaden rainfall noise and prevents abrasion damage on the underside of the lead sheet.
