Mini Stacked Stone Slips
Mini stacked stone is the smallest format we supply and the most textured. Pieces measure 400mm by 100mm with a thickness that varies from 6mm to 15mm across the face, so the finished wall has a genuine three-dimensional relief that catches light from the side.

The four colourways
Charcoal is a blue-grey slate and the darkest of the four — it is the one people reach for behind a media wall or a wood burner, where the depth of the stone reads against a lit surface. River Blue is quartzite in blue, grey and silver, cooler and more contemporary.
Oyster is a neutral quartzite in cream and pale stone tones that keeps a small room feeling open, and Ochre Rustic is a warm quartzite of ochre, rust and brown. All four are quartzite or slate, so the colour is the mineral itself and will not fade.
Coverage and fixing
Pieces come twelve to a box covering 0.432m², so a typical chimney breast of two and a half square metres takes six boxes plus a cutting allowance. The pieces slot together course on course and can be cut with an angle grinder and a diamond blade, which puts this format within reach of a competent DIY installer.
Fix to a flat, sound and dry substrate with a suitable stone adhesive. Because the thickness varies deliberately across each piece, do not try to level the face — the uneven front is the whole point of the product, and forcing pieces flat loses the shadow that gives the wall its depth.
Flat pieces only — plan your corners
Mini stacked stone is the one cladding format in our range that is supplied as flat pieces with no matching corner. On an internal feature wall that rarely matters, because the wall usually stops at a reveal or an internal angle. On an external return it does matter, and in that situation a ZClad panel or a cladding slip with its purpose-made corner is the better choice.
The format is rated for interior and exterior use, so garden features, porches and courtyard walls are all fair game as long as the design does not depend on a wrapped external corner.
